ABOUT THIS ROLE

We need a capable, methodical person to join our system implementation and support team at cadet level and learn how to assist in the delivery of business management solutions to our clients in the mining industry.

It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with a working knowledge of business processes and administration to transfer their skills and enter the exciting world of business technology from an accessible starting point.

This role commences with a specific data conversion project that will provide exposure to various client-service requirements and technology environments with expert internal mentorship and team support for effective on-the-job learning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Converting a number of client documents from Microsoft Word to the required digital format
  • Contributing to the improvement of procedures, checklists, and documents

Within approximately 1-1.5 years, through successful completion of the specific data conversion project, it’s expected the successful applicant will have acquired sufficient knowledge and practical experience to assume a broader, more challenging role within the system implementation and maintenance team.

ABOUT YOU

To be qualified for this role you’ll need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Intermediate to strong Word and Excel skills

  • Ability to prioritise and self-manage tasks to completion

  • High attention to detail and can-do attitude

The successful applicant will most likely possess:

  • Previous experience in one or more areas of business/back-office administration
  • Some experience working for a business in mining, manufacturing or similar industry
