POSITION:   Business Intelligence/Analytics Analyst/Programmer – full-time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a bright and passionate person with a passion for learning to assist in the delivery of Analytics solutions to our clients in the mining industry.

Work in a client-focused, Lean/Agile development environment as part of a widely acclaimed team to develop and deliver state-of-the-art analytics solutions to our mining industry clients.

The team works with structured and unstructured data captured from multiple sources including the Pulse Mining ERP, databases, spreadsheets, mining machinery, and other IoT (Internet of Things) sources to rapidly prototype and produce cloud-based apps to drive effective decision-making across the operational areas of mine sites.

The following attributes will be highly regarded:

  • Experience using data analytics and data mining to discover useful information and support decision-making
  • The ability to accurately map client requirements and develop effective solutions
  • Database experience
  • Programming skills

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical topics
  • Strong analysis skills
